Open app.howabout.today in Safari
It needs to be Safari — other browsers on iPhone & iPad can't add to the home screen.
Tap the Share button
The Share icon in the toolbar (bottom on iPhone, top on iPad).
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll the share sheet if you don't see it right away, then tap Add. Done — the squircle icon is on your home screen.
Open it from the home screen and it runs full-screen, no browser bars — just today.
Open app.howabout.today in Chrome
You'll often see an “Install app” banner appear on its own — if so, just tap it.
Open the menu
Tap the Menu in the top-right corner.
Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
Confirm, and the icon lands on your home screen like any other app.
Works in any Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave) — the wording may vary slightly.

Add it to your dock
In Safari, choose File → Add to Dock (or the Share button → Add to Dock). In Chrome or Edge, click the small install icon at the right end of the address bar (or the menu → “Install How About Today”).
Confirm
Click Add in Safari, or Install in Chrome and Edge. It opens in its own clean window and pins to your dock or taskbar.
Safari web apps need macOS Sonoma or later — on anything older, use Chrome or Edge.
